Please note that embers may on occasion produce small melt spots on synthetic fiber rugs, but the rug will not burn.

We recently replaced the carpet in our Great Room with tile and found we needed a hearth rug for placement before our gas log fireplace. We looked at design and color more than safety features, as no sparks to catch. This rug's color is an attractive shade of crimson, it is well made and should give years of service. The price makes it an excellent value. It is not fancy or showy, just a well-made, attractive rug that does it's job and adds a little color in an unobtrusive way.
